Aviator Hampshire

I have just had champagne afternoon tea at the Aviator in the Sky Bar and it was amazing. The service from Adel was outstanding, so attentive, nothing was too much trouble! She explained everything so well and catered for all our needs. The sandwiches, quiche and cakes were delicious. Great value for money too

My brother booked an event room here for afternoon tea for our parents' 60th wedding anniversary. The Wright room was great, plenty of space with technology that we could use to connect to a big screen for photos, arches to hang banners from, doors opening onto the grass, views of the airfield and runway. The staff were excellent, couldn't do enough for us, helpful and friendly but not at all intrusive. The food was amazing, and very plentiful. We all had little boxes to take leftovers home! My daughter is gluten-free and she was provided with a special one-off selection of GF delights, she was so happy to be able to eat out somewhere. I really cannot thank the staff enough for making us all feel so welcome (including the dog!) and for really going over and above expectations. We have had some great feedback from the guests about how lovely the room was overlooking the runway and it was nice to be able to have the doors open for some fresh air. Highly recommended. Thank you all so much for making it such a memorable occasion. (I only wish we'd booked an overnight room here instead of where we did!)

Absolutely outstanding experience. We used this venue for a small business team meeting on 8th & 9th January, with the team also staying overnight, and it exceeded expectations from start to finish. The venue offered excellent value for money, the rooms were comfortable and well set up for a productive stay, and the staff were genuinely exceptional. A special mention to Pav, who was incredibly helpful, attentive, and proactive throughout — nothing was too much trouble. The food provided was first class and added to what was a thoroughly positive and well-run experience. We would highly recommend this venue to any business looking for a professional, welcoming space for meetings, away days, or team stays.

Been here 6 times now for afternoon tea , it's the best place I've ever been too and had the best afternoon tea experience . The staff at the aviator are lovely & friendly, it's good that they talk you through the teas letting you smell them beforehand helping you decide what to have . The food and selection is lovely too , again our visit was for a special occasion and it was marked with a lovely complimentary touch of a slate plate with happy birthday on and a chocolate . I just asked if they did anything for this , I'd definitely come back . Hannah who helped with my booking answers all of my questing and dealt with my request on special dietary request of different sandwiches for one of my guests too . I stayed here for 24 hours and I was so pleasantly surprised. First of all the staff are amazing and have a great attention to detail to everything. The sky lounge was lovely to work from as well as enjoy light bites and refreshments the view of the runway with the private jets is lovely. My room was so spacious beautifully decorated, perfectly clean and I would 100% return for work or leisure. The hotel itself is really easy to get to has free parking, great conference facilities and was really quiet when I stayed. The only thing I would like to see potentially considered as a change, would be afternoon tea didn't need to be pre-booked, and you could request it anytime. Overall a brilliant experience here.

Went for afternoon tea ,lovely setting although some filming going on in lobby which was a bit loud .Foid and service was very nice with the Sky lounge offering great views over the airfield. Nice touch at the end with plate and chocolate for wifes B'day and able to takeaway unfinished scones. Value for money ...yes Settting . ...great Service ...good though did feel girl could of done with some help,but she managed. Would I recommend ...yes

My family and I have always enjoyed the afternoon tea at the Aviator, and have returned many times. There are fantastic views of Farnborough Airport, and the service is second-to-none. The staff are attentive and personable, whilst also being incredibly efficient. The food is also great, and we always look forward to taking some away at the end to snack on over the next day or two. Throughly recommend!

Single overnight stay, so I didn’t fully settle in. The room was a good size for a reasonable price and well suited to business travellers, with a spacious workspace and convenient laptop outlets. I wasn’t impressed with one of the on-site restaurants (name unknown). The menu aimed for a “fine dining” feel and was priced accordingly, but the food didn’t meet expectations. The bar, however, was excellent—great atmosphere, helpful staff, and prices comparable to other hotel bars. Strong selection of spirits, whiskies, and wines, though beer options were limited and none were on tap.
